About Wedfuly

We are currently hiring contract onsite contacts to work with us on wedding livestream productions across the US. The ideal candidate is experienced in apple technology and has previous in-person event experience.

We are looking for candidates in the following major metropolitan areas: Austin,TX - Richmond, VA - Portland, ME

What is an Onsite Contact you might ask?

  • You were chosen to be Wedfuly’s eyes, ears, and hands on the ground at the wedding. You are in charge of setting up all A/V (audio/ video) equipment for the virtual wedding and communicating with the Wedfuly Coordinator.

  • It takes 2 to tango and make a virtual wedding come to life. 

  • The Wedfuly Coordinator: The Coordinator works remotely to make sure that the virtual guests are taken care of, they switch between camera angles, make sure everyone can hear, and will play any media (such as videos, slideshows, and music). 

  • You, the onsite contact: You will be onsite handing the tech and working hand in hand with the Coordinator to make sure everything is set up correctly.

Please note: Candidates should keep in mind that the hours and schedule for this role are variable and will include weekends. This is a contract 1099 position.

Pay: $30/hr + Mileage

Your 2 main jobs:

  1. Overseeing and maintaining all onsite tech. 

    • This includes setting up the tech with the guidance of the Coordinator as well as being on standby for the duration of the wedding in case there are any technical issues.

  2. Communicating with the Coordinator when the ceremony is ready to begin, or if the ceremony is running late.


Required Experience

  • 1+ years of event experience

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MacOS. High level of comfort and knowledge with video conferencing platform Zoom.

A successful candidate will meet or exceed the following requirements and characteristics:

  • Available on weekends

  • Ability to drive to the event location and arrive 2 hours prior to the ceremony start time

  • You must have a newer reliable Apple laptop with working ports

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MacOS. High level of comfort and knowledge with video conferencing platform Zoom.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work accurately with great attention to detail

  • You are customer service oriented and able to communicate with a variety of clients

  • You are hardworking, energetic, and always have a can-do attitude
