July 19, 2018 Lily and Daniel’s destination wedding in Colorado a success with the help of Wedfuly planner Kaylee
At the crest of a hill in Loveland Pass, a cluster of claps and cheers filled the air as Lily and Daniel were pronounced husband and wife. Lily walked the gravelly hill in her sparkling Kate Spade Keds as family stood gathered just a few feet away.
Keeping the wedding to immediate family allowed for Lily and Daniel to make their celebration as sincere and stress-free as possible. A playlist of their favorite songs, Daniel’s cousin as the officiant and a view worth the world were all they needed for the ceremony.
Their reception dinner was spent in Silver Plume, Colorado at Bread Bar, where Lily’s aunt played the guitar and family danced and talked over chicken and biscuits.
Creating their unique wedding style took six months worth of planning with Wedfuly planner Kaylee. Because Colorado came with hundreds of opportunities and styles, Lily trusted Kaylee with her sense of taste and experience to create the rustic and homey feel they were looking for. Coming from flat Florida lands, Colorado was a refreshing view yet still able to act as a familiar place for their special day.
Thankfully with one of Wedfuly’s beloved photographers, Anna Boardman, Lily and Daniel were able to walk away with remarkable and emotional photos of not only themselves but grandparents and other family members. Alongside capturing moments of the most important people in their lives, were photographs of the gold-swiped cake made by Azucar Bakery.
And of course, the bride herself was one to capture. The flowers and greenery draping Lily’s arm by Lace and Lilies were recommended by Kaylee who used the same floral company at her own wedding. The bouquets free-flowing look was the perfect compliment to Lily’s hair done by Daniel’s sister and her stunning natural styled makeup done by the bride herself.
The day-making piece was Lily’s timeless dress by One and Only Bridal. The clean dip in the back and dainty buttons to put it together made the bride a mountain beauty. Lily describes her wedding as relaxed and happy – a smooth celebration to solidify her life of work and adventure with Daniel.
Looking back on their wedding day and looking forward to their future together, Lily feels “[life] is going to be fun.”
